1. I found the peeler to be a very good product for the price, I think you can pay a great deal more for a less quality metal out there and this peeler is sturdy in the hand, which I find important when you are slicing food.

2. I really like the peeler option...the peeler sliced through a carrot with great ease and produced nice looking AND even results... loved it.

3. The Julienne function resulted in some really nicely grated carrots which would be amazing as a garnish or in a carrot salad.

Totally worth the price. Here is my video on the product!!!

1. the case is in no way bulky, some of the wallet cases add a great amount of weight to the phone and this one does not while also retaining a high quality of material.

3. It fits over my phone very snugly and does not feel loose.

1. The device is simple and easy to install with literally no hassle.

2. The only indicator from the device for its workability is a green light that flashes if it is working. The green light began to flash immediately once I installed it into my bedroom and has consistently flashed since.

3. Seems to work very well for small rooms like a bedroom. Since we installed the Rid-Tech device over a week ago, I have seen a considerable drop in the number of fleas in the bedroom. With two dogs, we do have fleas this time of the year and it is a constant hassle to keep them out of the house. Since installation, I have only seen one flea in the bedroom total, which is a significant improvement.

(I plan on moving it to other parts of the house to continue to test its effectiveness)

Overall I can honestly say that I have seen an improvement from the rid-tech device and find it a useful tool against pests. 

My dogs did not have any adverse affects after its installation, so I deem it pet safe.  I did find the $29.99 price tag a bit high for the simplicity of the device, but if it works...then it is worth it.

Similar to the other Vita Science products, it goes on easy and just proves to be a simpler way to get daily vitamins if you are opposed to taking often large and bulky pills.

1. This is a bit difference than other Vita Science creams, it has a fresh minty fragrance and bright feel when you rub it in.

2. Like other Vita products, there is no residue or greasy effect. 

3. This should NOT be taken before bed it does give you some pep during the day if yoiu are feeling dull or off your game, a great alternative to energy drinks.

A Little Diversion... A Different Kind of Review

My day has been a bit insane and chaotic. I first spent most of the early afternoon at a local car dealership buying a Prius. I will be driving to and from Atlanta in a few months once I start the PhD program and wanted a reliable and gas friendly car...the Prius fills those needs and the experience was all together rather pleasant... so that is done!

When I got home, the mail greeted me with my favorite accessory to purchase... socks. Now, before you get all judgmental, I have a few reasons for loving socks.

1. They are cool and I really like quirky fun socks.
2. As someone who has RA, having warm legs/feet, even in the summer is helpful...it could all be in my mind, but my joints in my legs ache less when I wear long socks.... so I have a ton of them because I like socks and its fun to be decorative and fun with them.

The Youphoria Yoga Mat with Free Elastic Strap

Everyone in my house loved this mat...even the toddler and the boxer who I had to force away

I am what you call a novice at any sort of yoga. I have a book and I attempt to do the poses, but look nothing like the photos ever....

That being said, I find yoga fun, relaxing, and a good way to get exercise and attempt to stay healthy.

But...

The floors are uncomfortable and most yoga mats are thin and flimsy, but this mat is Not either of those things.

1. I love the thickness of this yoga mat, thick without bulk I should say...  When I unraveled it for the first time I was really just surprised at how soft and pliable the mat was... especially because it does not feel overly bulky when you have it rolled up. This makes the mat awesome already.

2. It weighs next to nothing and with the free strap that is provided, I can take this mat with me with ease...regardless of whatever else I am carrying around. 

Here are the specs on the mat:

The mat is 24x72, which for me was really long. It gave me a ton of space to work with without being overly big. I really found the length and size pleasing. 

The Mat comes in four colors... Green, Pink, Blue, and Black. I was fond of the green... I liked how bright it was. 

It comes with its own strap that you pull onto the mat after you roll it up, I found it easy to apply to the roll and it secured in place easily.

Overall the best part of this mat was the foam. The material the mat is composed of feels heavenly and really contributes to a pleasing workout experience. I think a yoga mat should ultimately contribute to a calming experience and the Youphoria mat does that x 10000.

The Slicer comes with the device, a holder for the vegetable in use, and a brush cleaner

Observations:

-The slicer is sturdy and very sharp. It works very well with even the hardest of vegetables like carrots and potatoes. The slicer has two sizes which produce a small and larger size spiral. I prefer the smaller spirals, they gave me the best results. 

The maker of the slicer suggests a 1 1/2 inch or 1 3/4 inch vegetable to get the best results, I used a standard sized carrot for a second test and it worked appropriately. 

The blades are very sharp... use the guard and be careful!

Overall on Amazon.com I gave the product a 4 out of 5 stars because I did have some initial trouble with the product.

The cream is odorless and non-greasy, which makes its application easy. I found that it also absorbed rather quickly without any lingering residue.

According to the product, the Vitamin D3 Cream benefits heart health, bone strength, and the immune system and if you are someone who wants to take vitamins on a daily basis, but hates to take so many large and sometimes very foul tasting pills, this is a great alternative.

I have tried other products by vita and found them to be very effective, I think only through prolonged use will I notice a difference with this, but I can say that I found this much more appealing than taking pill form vitamins.

Review: Handy Armor iPhone 6 Case

Handy Armor's iphone 6 bumper case is a very simplistic back cover with side bumpers to provide minimalist protection for iphone users who do not like bulky or decorative cases.

It is basic and pretty much a product of function only.

I usually have a bigger and more comprehensive cover for my phone, I have a toddler... I drop things, so this case is just not for me, but... here is my honest review of the case after using it for a week.

1. The case is very light and not bulky at all, if you want something that adds almost no weight, but some small amount of protection, this is a good option.

2. The bumper does cover the sides really well, but I felt uneasy about not having a more comprehensive case on my phone. If you are someone who is not prone to accidents, this should be fine.

3. It fit well on the phone, goes on and comes off with relative ease, and the button holes and covers on the phone fit fine.

The Zester is VERY sharp and works with minimal effort, you need the cover

First:

This zester is VERY VERY sharp, which makes it easy to use and able to zest with minimal effort. I like this a lot, but I will say that you need to hold onto the cover, because you do not want to have an accident and brush against this without said cover in a drawer, because I do believe it will easily cut flesh.

Second:

When I used this to zest an older lime, which can be problematic, it did a great job, I got a lot of zest from the lime with minimal effort, meaning this will ensure that you get as much zest as you can from each lime, making it cost effective.

Third:

The handle is sturdy and I felt like this was well made. 

Overall, especially for the price, I found this to be a decent zester, a bit better than the cheaper varieties and very effective, but again... be careful, it is very sharp.

What I thought:

1. I received these two silicone baking mats by Culinary Couture as a product for free in order to test and review...this is an honest and unbiased review.

2. I wanted to do something that I knew would leave some residue that is often a pain to clean off of baking sheets so I decided to do my kale chips because I soak them in Olive Oil and spices, which can get stuck on sheets.

3. The Baking sheets were very sturdy and solid, they help up well during the cooking process and I could see the oil welling up on the sheet, not absorbing.

4. Once I was done with the baking, nothing sticked and the chips came off the mats with no problem.

5. The cleanup was so easy, I used a paper towel to wipe off the spice and oil residue and then washed for a moment in soap and water...it took second and the mats were perfectly clean.

These sheets function very well and are a bargain for the price, much cheaper than the brand named competitors.
